LICN 30th MAY 2012
SPEAKER ONE:
James Davies of Upad.co.uk " How to manage your portfolio effective online"

James Davis is CEO of Upad.co.uk – the UK’s largest online letting agency. 14 years’ as a residential landlord showed James just how time-consuming and expensive finding a tenant and managing a property could be. James will also explain what an 'online letting agent' is, and how it may impact your business. If you're still putting a flyer in your local newsagent window, James can help you!
He founded Upad.co.uk in 2008 to help landlords use the internet to run their portfolio in a cost-effective way. Upad allows landlords to advertise their properties quickly and cheaply on more than 1000 UK lettings sites, and to choose from a menu of landlord services, to keep costs as low as possible and to keep control of their own business.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
The vast majority - 92% of tenants start their property search online. That shouldn't surprise anyone but are landlords changing their tenant finding strategies in response? This talk looks at how to use the internet to minimise void periods, and save a tonne of cash on agents fees in the process.
JAMES will share with us how to harness the internet – 92% of tenants are searching online for their next rental, but where and how can we reach them?
SPEAKER TWO:
Kevin Wright of The Wright Finance Advice "How to avoid putting 25% deposit down on each addition to our portfolios"

Kevin has been a property investor since he tackled his first refurb project in 1983 and bought his first BTL in 1985. In 2002 he bought a plot of land in Turkey and entrusted a Turkish friend to build a house on it for him.
Kevin has been giving financial advice since 1992, specialising in the property sector for the last 10 years. He is known for providing creative, yet legal, ways to buy property and build portfolios
IN HIS OWN WORDS “I will be speaking on the subject of how to 'recycle your cash” Probably the hottest topic in property right now is how to avoid all our cash being swallowed up by putting 25% deposit down on each addition to our portfolios. Even those of us with more substantial cash reserves can find them dwindling quickly as our portfolio increases. I will discuss how to make cash stretch much, much further by using creative but totally legal strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
* Purchase and get all of your money out on the day you complete.
* Put next to no money in when you buy below market value.
* Make outrageously low offers and complete in less than 5 days.
